Analysis of Assets Comparison of Recontesting MLA's in the

Telangana Assembly Election 2023

Association for democratic reforms(ADR) and Telangana election watch have analysed the selfs sworns affidavits of 103 Re contesting. MLA's in the Telangana assembly election 2023. Out of the 103 re contesting MLA's Assets of 90 MLA's (87%) have increase growth ranging from 3% to 13.31% and Assets of 13 MLA's (13%) have decrease trending from -1% to -79%. The ADR conducted a meticulous review of financial declarations, shading light on the fiscal dynamics of these political stalwarts. 

Assets of Recontesting Telangana MLA's Rose by 65% since 2018 

The 90 Recontesting MPS from BRS had the greatest average increase in asset value among major political parties in election at 68.56%. The average asset of these MPS during the 2018 assembly election was rupees 14.44 which jump to rupees 23.87 crore in 2023. According to report, the wealth of Pailla Shekhar Reddy of ruling BRS party, Rose from rupees 91.04 crore in 2018 to Rs 227.51 crores in 2023, and increase to 136.47 crore or 150%. The BJP had lowest increase at an average of 9.5% all India Majlis-E-Uttehadul Muslimeen MLA's assets increased by nearly 59% and Congress by 55.12% according to ADI report. 

Comparing the Assets of Recontesting MLA's from previous terms to present

The notable pattern emerge the data released dated 27 November 2023 indicates shift in wealth accumulation providing voters with valuable insights. The analysis takes into accounts a diverse range of assets including immovable properties, financial investments and other Holdings. The scruntiny is vital role for constituents aiming to make informed decisions as it not only highlight financial stability of Recontesting MLAs but also poster transparency in electoral process. It adds a layer of accountability, shaping the narrative of political representations in the state.

Top 5 Recontesting MLAs with the highest asset increase 

Pailla Shekhar Reddy of BRS from Bhongir with an maximum increase of rupees 136.47 crore. Assets of Alla Venkateshwar Reddy of BRS from Devarkadra have increase rupees 59.2 crore access of Manchi Reddy Kishan Reddy of BRS from Ibrahim Patnam have Rises by rupees 52 59 crore chamakura Malla Reddy of BRS from Medchal rice 46.67 crore. Assets of S Rajendra Reddy a BRS of Naryanpet rise 45 crore.
